As Director of Music at Amersham Band, Paul Fisher is committed to creating a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment where everyone can achieve their musical potential, in line with Amersham Band’s ethos of being a welcoming family.
Paul has been a driving force behind Amersham Band’s development for 15 years – helping it grow into a thriving community that brings people together through music, cultivating teamwork, and shared achievement.
Beyond Amersham, Paul is the Business Engagement Manager for Conn Selmer Europe and a Youth Development Brass Specialist for Brass Bands England. His global career spans orchestral, pop, theatre, jazz, dance, and session work, collaborating with some of the world’s finest ensembles.
As an educator, Paul has introduced thousands of young musicians to the joy of music. Passionate about inspiring the next generation, he continues to create opportunities for young players to develop, perform, and experience the lifelong benefits of making music.
