Safeguarding

The band management team place the utmost importance on the safety of our members.

We strive to ensure that there are opportunities for all people, whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, religious belief and/or sexual identity to participate in brass banding in an enjoyable and safe environment.

Our Musical Directors and Band Managers have been through safeguarding training and the band organisation as a whole meets the requirements of the Brass Bands England Bandsafe programme.

Each of our bands and all of our activities have a nominated safeguarding officer who ensures the safety and welfare of all band members.
