Amersham Community Brass was formed in 2014 and is aimed at developing players of all ages from Grade 3 upwards. Already at a strength of nearly 40 members, the band is still keen to recruit new players and we have instruments available for loan if needed. It is a friendly band where everyone can learn and have fun making music together.

Amersham Community Band performs at local events such as fetes and local concerts and competes in the Fourth Section of the Brass Band Championships.

Ash Horton is the Community Brass Musical Director. Ash is a brass teacher and professional trombone player.

The band has weekly rehearsals at our bandroom on Thursdays from 7:30pm to 9:30pm with additional rehearsals prior to major performances. Membership fees, policies, and other membership information can be found on our members page.
