After our July event was cancelled due to severe weather, we’ll be back, playing in our favourite venue, Amersham Memorial Gardens on Sunday 5 September. It’s the first time this year that we can perform for an audience and we’ll be featuring each of our four bands in a festival of brass music.
The timetable for our Festival of Brass is as follows (times are approximate)
- 2:30pm – Brass Roots (our teaching group for young people)
- 2:55pm – Amersham Community Brass
- 3:25pm – Amersham Concert Brass
- 4:00pm – Amersham Band
We are particularly pleased to feature our Brass Roots group. This has become hugely popular and we have split the group into two sessions on Mondays and Thursdays in order to meet the demand. Arguably, our youngest band will be the star of the show in the Memorial Gardens.
Entry to the concert is free of charge.
