Adjudicator Lewis Rowlands had a challenge on his hands in choosing the winners of our solo competition held on 7 May. There was a wide range of entries, including solos, duets and two separate family trios from the Collins and Hutchinson families. In presenting the results, Lewis gave some great advice on performing to an audience and commented that everyone gains from the experience. Medals and certificates were awarded to all who took part with the awards as follows:
Beginner Section
Winners: Arthur Digby and Carrie Shield.
Intermediate Section
Winners: Amy Hutchinson and George Digby.
Runners Up: Ben, Matthew and Emma Collins, Carys Davies and Emma Collins, Emily, Amy and Murray Hutchinson, Leo Nash, Murray Hutchinson.
Highly Commended: Pauline Richards, Andy Shield.
Advanced Section
