It is with sadness that we report that John Allison, 2nd horn player with Amersham Community Brass, passed away peacefully at home after losing his battle with Myeloma. John joined the training band several years ago and he was an active, loyal and popular member of the band. More recently when he retired he also joined the Vintage Brass group. Even during the last few months John was able to participate in some of the band rehearsals and it was clear that he appreciated the company and friendship during his illness.
