The band will be helping to commemorate Remembrance Sunday again this year, with a full band at the Memorial Gardens ceremony and then at the St Mary’s Church service on Sunday 13 November. We are also providing a bugle player to sound the last post at Winchmore Hill and at the Chiltern District Council event on 11 November. Two years ago the band was commissioned to perform an arrangement of “Songs from the Great War” at an inaugural event at Marlborough House. It’s a perfect piece to remind us of the upheaval and sacrifice of the conflict 100 years ago and you can listen to the band’s performance here.
