Thanks to a recent grant offer, and a donation from the Aviva Community Fund, our bandroom appeal has now reached the critical half-way milestone, with over 50% of the total funding now in place. Band Chairman, Fred Harrison said “This is fantastic news. We are really building momentum on our fundraising campaign. In addition to this grant, recently the band has had many generous donations from local people, with a further £7,500 being raised over the Christmas period.”
To reach the bandroom construction costs of £425,000, the band now needs to raise a further £198,000.
