Amersham Community Brass spent a productive Saturday morning recording their very first CD. The recording session was organised by band-member Richard Skepper and took place in the theatre at Amersham and Wycombe College. ACB band manager Caroline Perkins said ” it was a great opportunity for everyone to get experience of a recording session and afterwards some of the younger members got to try out the studio recording desk”. The band had carefully rehearsed 6 pieces for the last few weeks and the preparation paid off as each track was successfully recorded without too many re-takes. The finished CD will be coming out very shortly.
