The band had a busy and rewarding weekend at the Regional Contest in Stevenage on 17/18 March. On Saturday, the main band, competing for the first time in the First Section, secured an impressive second place and an invitation to play in the National Finals. Meanwhile, on the second day of the competition, Amersham Community Brass made their debut in the Fourth Section contest. ACB performed well on stage, and were without doubt the happiest band backstage. The photo is of our younger members proudly showing their brand new registration cards.
Musical Director, Paul Fisher. said “It was a brilliant day and I thought everyone played very well. Most of all I loved our smiley attitude and we brought a really nice mood to the overall proceedings.”
